Kastela Marina is a new and modern marina situated in Kastela Bay, just north of Split in Central Dalmatia. Kastela is fast becoming a big player in the nautical revolution in Croatia It provides safe harbour for both private and charter boats and is a pleasant place to get a taste of the Mediterranean. Dry and warm during the summer, wet and mild during the winter, it is open all year round. From here, many sailing routes along the coast and islands in the Adriatic Sea are possible. The islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis with all their wonders await close by and good sail north is the Kornati Islands Park.

Approach to the marina is through the Kastela Bay, the largest in the Mid Adriatic overlooked by the Kozjak mountains. Attention should be paid to the Galija shallow which must remain on your starboard side. The shallow is marked well by a bright yellow light buoy. The on-duty officer can be contacted through VHF, and offer navigational guidance and mooring assistance.

The depth on entrance is 4.8 m, and minimum depth inside is 1.8 m.

Kastela Marina also offers long term berthing for boat owners and charter boats and competitive winter berthing rates.

Facilities

Kastela marina has got 420 berths supplied with electricity and water. Kastela Marina can accommodate mega yachts on the outer side of the peer for drafts up to 10m.

The dry dock has 400 dry berths for ship accommodation on land, hangars for vessels, a 60 T travel lift, a 200 T travel lift and a 5T crane boat maintenance workshops and services. So any boat problems don’t have to ruin your vacation!

Other facilities include a reception, air conditioned lounge for charter guests, supermarket, parking, sanitary facilities with showers, bottled gas, a nautical shop, a vacuum sewage pump system and Wi-Fi and telephony services. For your entertainment there is a café-bar, a restaurant, a 25 m swimming pool, a sailing club - with facilities for commercial and sport regattas, and a hotel with a congress center. All of this, in an ultra-modern and sleek environment.
