Marina Kornati

Kornati Marina, in Biograd na Moru on the Dalmatian Coast, provides a convenient and well-organised base in the heart of this yachting mecca. It is an extremely popular destination for yachting races and regattas due to the excellent wind in the Pasman Channel. Annually, more than 40 domestic and international regattas of all classes are hosted in this region. Chartering a boat from here gives access to the breathtaking islands of the Kornati National Park as well as the Sibenik Archipelago further south.

Kornati Marina is one of the largest marinas in Zadar County and one of the centres of nautical tourism on the Dalmatian Coast. Kornati Marina upholds strict codes of conduct and standards in terms of the environment and has been flying the prestigious Blue Flag for over 6 years. This marina with its state-of-the-art equipment, excellent professional service and strong commitment to the environment is also one of the leading charter bases in Croatia.

Facilities

Kornati Marina has in total of 750 sea berths on 15 piers, all connected to a water and electricity supply. Boats up to 23 metres and with a maximum draft of 6.5 can be accommodated in this marina.

Kornati Marina consists of three interconnected zones:

The central zone has got 380 sea berths and 70 dry berths. The western zone has got 200 sea berths, and the southern zone has got 100 sea berths. The marina entrance is 40 m wide, and the maximum draft possible is 6.5m.

The dry dock has a travel lift with the lifting capacity of 50T, a 10T capacity crane and there are 30 external companies that provide maintenance and repair services within the marina. Cleaning services are also available as well as a fuel station. There are also provisions for the safe disposal of waste and toxic materials.

In addition there is 24-hour security, secure parking with 700 parking spaces, and separate sanitary facilities in each zone. Medical and lifesaving services are available on site and standard protocols for fire safety equipment are followed. There is a popular and newly-refurbished restaurant seating up to 370 people, where one can enjoy a variety of Mediterranean dishes and a selection of fine Croatian wine.

All the amenities of the town of Biograd na Moru are a short walk away from the marina.
