On the northern side of the island of Šolta, in a beautiful bay is the small private Rogač Marina in a large bay of the same name. If an uncrowded, simple marina surrounded by natural beauty is what you are looking for, then this one makes a great base for exploring the area. Rogač is 9 nautical miles from Split across the Split Channel and is where the ferry from Split comes in.
Just to the north are the islands of Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali, known for their beaches and coves. Sailing southwards, the islands of Brač, Hvar, Korčula and Vis are the most frequently visited destinations.
Rogač Marina is open during the summer months only and is protected from the northern winds, although there can be surge if they are strong.
Approach is simple. Depths are about 2 meters and along the coast it is very shallow.
The marina has 20 sea berths all with power and water supply. There are no dry berths and no maintenance or repair services. There are sanitary facilities on site.
Other facilities include a reception, restaurant, small supermarket, parking and a fuel station. There is Wi-Fi Internet and a lovely beach just next to the marina. Close by is an ATM.
The best way is to sail in. The nearest airport is Split International Airport. You can reach Šolta and Rogač by departing from Split city port by ferry.
