Dear Marijana,
Here I am answering you with a little delay because after sailing I had to return to work, currently in Russia...
All in all it's ok.
Maybe the handover of the vessel always goes too fast and the rush to set sail, and both the lessors and the lessees are to blame, so it is only later found out that something is not working, or is not being used...
It's different when it comes to an apartment or hotel, everyone knows how to turn on the TV and use the toilet, and when you have to play the radio on the boat, a problem already arises (because some switch on the panel on which you can't see the inscriptions is not turned on)
Here is the list that I advertised by email from the ship:
Our lease is coming to an end.
In order to prepare the sailboat Charlie for the next gig as soon as possible, we bring you the problems we encountered during the cruise:
1. The auxiliary boat has worn out and the glued parts come off during normal use: carrying handles, reinforcements for tying, etc... Our boat came off in the marina and we almost lost it.
2. The speed log does not work, i.e. it constantly shows zero.
3. The wind direction log is not fictitious. If there were no direction indicators at the top of the mast, it would be almost impossible to sail.
4. The water tank is emptied (the pump turns on by itself) even when there are no consumers. We suspect the shower on the deck, but there is probably another leak of some sort.
5. The Internet did not work or we did not know how to use it. In the case of the latter, it is necessary to check the operation before sailing as part of the checking.
6. One glass is missing on the cabinet above the sparhead, so the sails fall out when the sailboat tilts.
7. the dishes are split: the lids do not fit the dishes. The colander is missing...
8. The functions of the switch on the electrical panel are illegible - but the technical service helped us by phone during the voyage to turn on the right one
9. In the end, our anchor winch stopped working. We think the fuse has blown, but we don't know how to replace it
It turned out that no. 5 Internet was ok, but we didn't know how to turn it on - however, they admitted it and the boat, and therefore the second motor, which I didn't even need with such a boat.
But because of that boat that drove away in the Peskera marina, from which we set sail at a wind speed of 35 c, and of course also because of our inexperience, we damaged the rudder blade because we ran into the rope of another boat while driving backwards. But everything ended well.
Greeting,
Cetkovic
