Bunarina Marina, near the ancient town of Pula, is a popular base for exploring the indented coastline and beautiful bays of the Istrian Peninsula. It is located in the southwestern part of the Veruda Bay, along with the Veruda Marina. The pretty islands and coastlines around here boast clear waters, great bays for shelter, short distances between them and mostly ideal sailing conditions. The winds are mostly friendly especially in the summer months, although sometimes less stable in Kvarner Bay. Sailing in these parts, you will see why Croatia is famous for its natural beauty.
Starting from here you can cruise the Brijuni National Park or sail over to the Kvarner Islands of Krk, Cres, Pag, Rab, Losinj; or the smaller and less crowded islands of Unije, Ilovik, Susak, Silba and Premuda. It is open all year round and offers winter berthing services.
Bunarina Marina has 500 sea berths all supplied with power and electricity. There are shower and toilet facilities, a crane, craft cleaning services and a scuba tank re-fill station.
Other facilities offered by this marina are a popular cafe bar, parking, a sports centre with tennis, handball, volleyball, basketball and mini-football courts.
The marina is about two kilometres from Pula where you can find all the amenities offered by the town.
Pula International airport is only about ten kilometers away. The other two closest airports are in Trieste - about 130 km away, and Ljubljana – about 210km away.
