Bavaria Cruiser 36

Boat Model Overview

We’ve supported sailing holidays for years, and the Bavaria Cruiser 36 is one of those yachts that keeps impressing our guests. This is a Bavaria Yachts sailing yacht, built for relaxed cruising and also for confident handling in changing conditions. According to the manufacturer’s published specifications and our long broker experience, the Bavaria Cruiser 36 was produced for the charter market in the 2011–2013 range.

What stands out is the practical cabin layout. We advise you to choose the version that matches your crew size, because the “3-cabin” setups open different comfort levels. In the 3-cabin configuration, the yacht offers accommodation for 6 berths in the cabins and includes one WC. For groups who want a little more flexibility, there are variants with 6 berths in the cabins plus one additional berth, still with one WC. And for larger parties, we’ve seen charter operators specify the option with 6 berths in the cabins plus two additional berths, again with one WC. Simple, clear, and easy to plan—actually, that’s exactly what our guests tell us after booking.

On the pricing side, our records for weekly charter offers show a range of 1,291.17 to 2,502.20 EUR, with an average around 1,630 EUR. We recommend treating this as a planning baseline rather than a fixed quote, because season and route can shift the final figure.

From our experience, this model has been especially popular for sailing yacht rentals across six countries. We’ve noticed that couples, small families, and groups of friends appreciate the balance between comfort and straightforward sailing characteristics.

If you’re looking for a dependable cruiser with a flexible berth concept and a long track record in charter operations, we can say with confidence the Bavaria Cruiser 36 is a smart choice. We’ve seen many repeat bookings for this size, and our guests usually come back smiling—wind in the sails, and no surprises!
