Bavaria VIRTESS 420 Fly

Yacht Model Overview

From our experience advising guests for many seasons, the Bavaria VIRTESS 420 Fly is a practical choice for a motor-boat holiday with comfort on board. This is a motor yacht from Bavaria Yachts, and the “Fly” layout is designed so you can enjoy the sea view from the upper driving area while still keeping the main salon and deck flow very natural. We have noticed that charter teams often prefer this model when clients want a balance: easy handling for the crew, and enough space for a group to live aboard without feeling squeezed.

According to the manufacturer’s published specifications, the VIRTESS 420 Fly is offered with three cabins for up to six berths. In charter configuration it typically includes two heads (WC), which helps when you have families or mixed groups. We state with certainty that this layout works well for week-long itineraries, because morning routines stay smooth even when everyone is ready to go on time.

Our guests who have trusted us with similar Bavaria flybridge yachts usually ask two things: “How does it feel underway?” and “Is it comfortable at anchor?” In our observations, the Flybridge position provides a commanding line of sight, and the indoor-outdoor circulation makes short stops enjoyable, not stressful. Actually, for cruising days in Croatia and Spain, this model has been a frequent pick for those who want a motor yacht charter rather than a purely sail-focused holiday.

As for the charter market, we have seen weekly pricing commonly in the range of about €6,596.67 to €10,383.33, with an average around €7,656. These figures vary with season, departure port, and whether you choose additional extras.

We recommend planning your route around marina availability and typical weather windows. A well-timed week in the Adriatic or along the Iberian coast turns the Flybridge into your favorite seat—sunrise first, then a long swim later. That’s how our seasoned clients describe it!
