Lagoon 380

Boat Model Overview

We’ve worked with Lagoon Catamarans for many seasons, and the Lagoon 380 is one of those models that consistently makes sense for charter guests who want comfort without drama. From our experience, this catamaran is a “family of layouts” rather than a single fixed interior. The manufacturer built it in the charter years from 2003 through 2019, and that timeline matters: you can find multiple configurations depending on the refit history and operator.

On the Lagoon 380, the most relevant fact for planning is how berth capacity changes with cabin count. In the common 3-cabin arrangement, it typically offers 6 berths in cabins with 2 heads (WC). Some versions add 2 more berths, still with 2 WC, so you can accommodate larger groups while keeping two sanitary spaces. When the 4-cabin layout is used, the base is usually 8 berths in cabins and 2 WC; additional berths can be added as well, depending on the operator’s spec.

We have noticed that the later, higher-capacity versions continue that logic: 5 and 6 cabin variants keep 8 berths in cabins, then add 1 to 4 extra berths. The number of heads also rises in some configurations, including 3 WC. Actually, that difference is what our guests feel most during busy sailing days—less waiting, more freedom, especially at anchor!

For pricing, our charter partners and the market data we track place the weekly rate roughly between 2870.39 and 4242.55 EUR, with an average around 3405 EUR. We can say with confidence that the Lagoon 380 is popular for catamaran rentals across many regions; operators report demand in 13 countries.

If you’re choosing a catamaran for a week on calm coasts or island hopping, we advise you to confirm the exact cabin and berth layout before booking. It’s a small question… but it changes the whole onboard rhythm.
