Lagoon 43

Yacht Model Overview

We’ve been advising sailing groups for years, and when guests ask for a modern Lagoon catamaran that feels stable at anchor and comfortable underway, the Lagoon 43 comes up again and again. According to manufacturer information and what we have observed on the water, this model is built as a cruising catamaran with a strong focus on livability: wide side decks, a practical layout, and generous communal space in the cockpit and salon area.

For charter planning, the key point is flexibility in accommodation. The Lagoon 43 can be configured in multiple cabin versions for different group sizes. We’ve seen variants offered with three-cabin layouts, typically arranged to sleep six in cabins, with three heads. Other charter setups increase the berth capacity by adding extra berths while keeping the number of sanitary compartments aligned with the chosen version. In the larger configurations, the model can reach eight or even twelve berths in cabins, with corresponding increases in the number of heads. In plain terms: it’s designed so that families, friends, and mixed groups can keep privacy without turning the trip into a “squeeze.”

From our experience with clients who booked with us so far, the Lagoon 43 suits week-long itineraries where you want easy handling and a relaxed watch schedule. A catamaran’s twin-hull platform generally reduces roll compared with many monohulls, and that matters when you’re sharing meals, letting kids roam a bit, or simply enjoying a calm evening passage.

As for availability, the model is referenced for charter builds in the 2025–2026 range, and charter pricing we’ve tracked falls in a weekly range from about 4,759.57 to 10,696.73 EUR, with an average near 6,610 EUR depending on the chosen cabin version, season, and home port.

We state with certainty: if your group wants a contemporary catamaran for cruising, with layouts that scale from smaller parties up to larger gatherings, the Lagoon 43 is a very solid choice. We recommend confirming the exact cabin/berth configuration before you pay—some versions change the “feel” of the trip dramatically. The sea will take care of the rest… and we’ll handle the details!
