Lagoon 450

Yacht Model Overview

Lagoon Catamarans’ Lagoon 450 is a charter catamaran built for comfortable passage-making, with a layout that suits both family crews and groups of friends. The model entered the charter fleet between 2012 and 2020, and in that period it became a familiar sight in marinas across many regions. It carries the unmistakable Lagoon philosophy: wide decks, generous glazing, and a practical flow from cockpit to saloon—so life aboard feels simple, even when the sea is not.

As a sailing platform, the Lagoon 450 is designed around stability under sail. Catamaran hull spacing gives a confident motion at anchor and underway. The sail plan and trim options let you adapt to changing wind angles; the skipper will appreciate how the boat responds when you adjust course and sheet in or out. When the breeze freshens, the twin-hull form keeps the ride composed. Then, when the day ends, the shaded cockpit invites quiet watch-keeping.

Accommodation varies by version. Charter configurations commonly include four or six cabins, with berths arranged in multiple combinations. Depending on the specific build, you may find 6 or 8 berths in cabins, plus additional berths in extra spaces. Toilet facilities are also offered in several counts: 3, 4, 5, or 6 heads, depending on the interior layout. In other words: there is a Lagoon 450 setup for different crew sizes, from a focused group to a larger charter party.

For budgeting, weekly charter prices typically fall between 4,382.61 and 8,585.36 EUR, with an average around 5,719 EUR. This range reflects the version, season, and port. In practice, the Lagoon 450 has proven popular for catamaran charters in twelve countries. It is a boat you can sail hard in the daytime—and live on, comfortably, at night. Clean lines, calm handling, and real cruising readiness!
