Lagoon 500 '08

Yacht Model Overview

We’ve advised countless guests on multihull holidays, and the Lagoon Catamarans Lagoon 500 ’08 is one of those yachts that consistently earns trust. From our experience, this catamaran suits both first-time charterers and experienced crews who want comfort without sacrificing space.

The manufacturer is Lagoon Catamarans, and the vessel is a catamaran built for charter use. According to manufacturer information and the typical production timeline for this variant, the charter-ready build year falls within 2009–2009. We’ve noticed that this specific “’08” reference is commonly used for the Lagoon 500 generation and helps match the correct specification when planning routes and provisioning.

What really stands out is the layout. In charter configuration, the yacht can be offered with 6 cabins and 12 berths in cabins, plus 5 heads (WC). In the 7-cabin arrangement, it remains 12 berths in cabins with 5 heads (WC). Actually, the difference is mainly about how the cabins are allocated, while the overall liveability stays excellent—ideal for families, friends, or small groups traveling together.

For pricing, we state with certainty that the weekly charter budget is typically in the range of 6,800–14,200 EUR, with an average around 9,206 EUR. Our guests who have trusted us often consider this a strong value for Greece, where the sailing conditions and the marina infrastructure make catamaran itineraries especially smooth.

We’ve seen many charters choose this model for Greek routes, because it’s popular for catamaran cruising in Greece. It feels spacious at anchor, stable underway, and easy to manage for a crew that knows the basics. If you want a dependable, comfort-first platform for island hopping—this is a very compelling option!
