Salona 35

Boat Model Overview

We’ve advised thousands of guests on sailing holidays, and when people ask for a refined sailboat that still feels easy to live with, we often point them toward the AD Boats Salona 35. From our experience, this is one of those models that quietly earns trust. It doesn’t shout; it simply delivers. Actually, it’s a classic choice for a week on the water where comfort and sailing character have to coexist.

The Salona 35 is a sailboat built by AD Boats, a name widely associated with well-considered Croatian craftsmanship. We have noticed that many sailing enthusiasts choose it because it balances responsive handling with a practical layout. According to our knowledge, the 2013 charter fleet examples we’ve seen were offered in versions that accommodate four berths in two cabins, plus a separate WC. For a rental week, that arrangement is ideal when couples travel together—or when a small group wants privacy without overcomplicating the onboard routine.

Now, about pricing. Based on what guests who have trusted us reported and on typical charter listings for this model, the weekly range we see commonly sits around 810 to 2,520 EUR, averaging roughly 1,376 EUR. Of course, the final figure changes with season, route, and provisioning. But we can say with confidence that the Salona 35 tends to be one of the more accessible “premium-feel” sailing options.

We also observed something interesting regarding popularity. From our experience, the Salona 35 has remained particularly well-liked for sailboat rentals in Germany. That makes sense: it’s a manageable size for skippered or lightly supervised sailing, yet it still offers the satisfying sense of a real cruiser.

If you’re dreaming of a calm, elegant week under sail—serious comfort, genuine sailing pleasure, and a layout that just works—this is the kind of boat our guests keep recommending to friends. Smooth wind, clear plans, and… yes! a boat that feels right from the first moment.
