Sun Odyssey 509

Yacht Model Overview

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 509 – the sailing yacht for charters where comfort and elegance must sail side by side. Built for the 2012–2015 charter fleets, this model carries the unmistakable French balance: confident lines, clean deck flow, and a cockpit that invites long evenings under a sky full of stars. With its generous interior volume and a refined sail plan, the Sun Odyssey 509 feels steady at sea—secure in every turn, quietly powerful when the wind rises.

On our charter offer you’ll meet multiple layout variants, so the experience can match your crew size. The 4-cabin versions sleep 8 guests in cabins with 4 heads, ideal for families or a close group of friends who want privacy without compromise. Some configurations add extra berths for flexible planning, still keeping 4 heads within easy reach—perfect when your itinerary turns into a “one more day” story.

For larger crews, the 5- and 6-cabin versions expand the onboard rhythm. In the 5-cabin layout, you’ll find 10 berths in cabins and 3 heads, with an extended option that can welcome two additional berths while maintaining the same 3 heads. The 6-cabin range offers 10 berths in cabins with 3 heads, and further variants that add berths and even increase the number of heads up to 4—because good sailing should never mean waiting for the next shower.

Jeanneau’s reputation is built on practical engineering, and the Sun Odyssey 509 reflects that.
