How to Send a Complete Inquiry – Our Advice
If you are sending a boat rental or yacht charter inquiry for the first time, we understand that you may not be sure what exactly to include. And that is perfectly fine. From our experience, guests who share a bit more information with us from the very beginning receive a faster, more precise and – actually – better offer. That is why we decided to explain in one place how to send a proper inquiry and what it should contain.
We have noticed that a well-prepared inquiry saves time for everyone. For you. For us. And for the skipper.
Ways to Send a Yacht Charter Inquiry
You can send your inquiry in several simple ways:
-
Through the “My Boats” option – while browsing our offer (whether you are interested in sailing yacht charter, catamaran charter or motor boat rental), you can select one or more vessels and add them to “My Boats”. After that, simply click on “Charter Inquiry” and forward us your selection. This is the most precise method because we know exactly which boat or yacht you have in mind.
-
Through the “Charter Inquiry” form – the form is located in the top right corner of the website. In the “comments” field, feel free to write everything that matters to you: special requests, departure date, boarding area, budget, planned itinerary, previous sailing experience… The more details we receive, the better proposal we can prepare.
-
Directly by e-mail – you can send your rental or charter request to [email protected]. Some guests simply prefer classic communication. And that is absolutely fine with us.
If you are not sure where to start, you can always simply contact us by phone or via WhatsApp. We know which questions to ask.
What Should a Proper Inquiry Include?
We can say with confidence – the more specific information you provide, the more accurately we can tailor our offer. Guests who have placed their trust in us so far and sent a detailed charter or boat rental inquiry often received several ideal options already in our first reply.
We recommend including the following:
-
Charter period – the standard charter week runs from Saturday to Saturday, although exceptions are possible.
-
Charter area – at least specify the country, such as Croatia, Greece, Italy, France, Spain or the Caribbean, if you have not yet chosen a specific region.
-
Type of vessel – sailing yacht, catamaran, motor yacht, gulet or perhaps just a cabin on a cruise.
-
Preferred boat size, approximately from – to.
-
Number of people in your group.
-
Number of cabins required.
-
Crewed or bareboat option – would you like a skipper, hostess, chef, or are you planning a bareboat charter (please check the bareboat charter requirements)? If you are unsure, we suggest reading the skippered charter FAQ or the bareboat FAQ.
From what we have seen over the years, many guests only realize after speaking with us how much details such as sailing experience or the desired cruising pace can influence the choice of yacht or boat. So – tell us everything. Even if you think it may not be important.
Important – What Does Sending an Inquiry Actually Mean?
This is important. And we always emphasize it.
By sending a rental or charter inquiry, regardless of the method, you are not automatically booking a vessel. Once we receive your request, we will send you an offer of available yachts, boats or cabins by e-mail. That offer does not oblige you to confirm the booking.
A reservation is possible only upon your explicit request and is confirmed by signing the Charter Agreement, whose general terms form an integral part. Only then does the boat become officially booked.
The personal data you provide when sending a boat rental inquiry is protected in accordance with our privacy policy. We can confidently say – discretion and professionalism are our standard.
