“ Hi everybody. We have sailed for one week in Krk, Rab, Losini and Kres area with a Yacht-Rent rented boat, a 2009 Bavaria 45. We had a lot of fun and the weather was gorgeous but we cannot say we are happy about the boat, definitely not old but not in good conditions. Nothing really bad, nothing serious but several small problems which have affected our holyday’s quality: cockpit shower did not work; cockpit table was in awful conditions and so it was the small ladder to get out of the seawater; inside the main mast there was a wasp nest which has been a terrible companion for the whole week. But what we disliked most was the staff assistance during check in. We did it with a guy who did not know the boat at all and who could not reply to our questions. Every time we asked him something, his reply was “I am going to ask now and I will tell you later”, but he never told us anything, not mentioning details that at the end have been quite annoying. First of all, he did not tell us that in Marina Punat there is no gas station. We planned, as usual, to refill our tank when we got back there but it was not possible and so we had to pay a 50 euro fine. It was written on the contract, we know that, but how could we imagine that in such a Marina with hundreds and hundreds boats there is no gas station? When we returned our boat, then, a scuba diver checked our hull. Nobody told us anything in advance about that, nor showed us a video of the hull conditions before we got in charge of the boat. Some information we got via mail proved not to be true (parking costs, for example) when in Marina Punat. To sum up: lots of kindness and warmth but little competence. ”
