This year ICE 2016 ( International Charter Expo ) fair was held from 11-13.03 in Zagreb, Croatia. Our agency attended the fair, as well as year before, being one of over 250 participants from yacht charter world. Participants arrived from different parts but mostly from host country Croatia having one of the largest yacht charter fleet in the world and then from Greece, Turkey, Italy, France... About 100 charter companies and about 150 broker agencies spent wonderful weekend together. Since the type of ICE fair is B2B (business to business) no regular visitors were allowed to attend.
Many meetings between the charter companies and broker agencies, but also among the charter companies were held during the fair. Our agency took part in more than 30 successful meetings. In addition to official meetings, there were plenty of casual encounters and relaxing moments convenient for establishing friendly relationships that will help in everyday charter business.
The very purpose of the fair was to gather all service providers in yacht charter sector in one place in order to exchange their experiences in business so far. Information sharing provides better insight into potential problems and therefore quicker and better possible solutions. In the end, the benefit of such a fair should go to the end users of yacht charter services - our dear guests. Improving the quality of our services we provide even more pleasant stay on board for our guests during their sailing holidays.
