“ Dear Mrs Tabar, As always we had a stunning week in Croatia. We arrived at the base at lunchtime on Saturday and the shore crew of the charter company did a great job handing over the boat so we could leave Sukosan at 14.00. as winds were light we motored to Molat were we moored on a buoy. Here we discovered that the dinghy was leaking and that the outboard motor had a broken carburetor. We called the charter company the next morning and they brought a new motor. We went further to Ilovik and then to Mali Losijn where the harbor was extremely crowded. With a lot of luck we got a mooring at the city side and enjoyed the day looking at Losinj. In the evening we were surprised by a horrible thunderstorm with strong northerly winds but everything went well. We left Losinj for Ist and continued to Zut which is one of our favorite marinas. From there we went to Biograd and then back to the base. Again the base crew were fantastic and we could check out without any problems. The charter company was great and the boat was comfortable and good but not a very good sailor. During the week winds were generally very light but on Thursday we had a nice afternoon breeze. I managed to get the boat up to 7,7 knots which I think is poor for a boat of 12 m length, but sails were fairly worn out. All in all a wonderful vacation. Best regards Peter Jocic Thanks ”
