The Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 is a 2020 catamaran built for guests who want a stable, comfortable cruising base in the Road Town area of the British Virgin Islands. If you charter in the BVI, you expect practical comfort and dependable systems. This 13.94 m by 7.7 m platform delivers exactly that—twin hull stability, clear deck flow, and a well-equipped interior.
With 6 cabins, the layout is made for groups. You sleep 10 guests in the cabins, plus 1 additional berth. Five toilets support day-to-day life onboard without crowding. The air conditioning keeps the interior calm when the trade winds soften.
At the helm station you get an integrated navigation setup with a GPS Plotter and autopilot for steady courses between islands. Visibility and control matter here. A bimini top shades the cockpit, while electric winches and an electric anchor windlass make handling effortless during anchoring.
Life on the water is supported by practical electronics and conveniences: Fusion radio, outside speakers, TV, inverter power, USB sockets, and multiple 110V sockets. For provisioning, there is a refrigerator, a freezer, a cockpit fridge, and a microwave. Cooking is straightforward with a stove and a dedicated barbecue grill.
For tender service, the onboard tender is carried with a davit and powered by an outboard engine. The bathing platform and cockpit shower are ready for quick, refreshing returns after a swim.
