Yacht Overview
We’re excited to recommend the Lagoon 42, a modern catamaran built in 2025 for guests who want a comfortable charter experience in Guadeloupe. From our experience, this layout works especially well for groups: it offers 6 cabins and supports up to 8 berths in the cabins, plus 4 additional berths when you need extra space for family or friends. Yes, it’s a proper “everyone has their own corner” situation—no one has to negotiate for privacy!
This catamaran is 12.8 m long with a beam of 7.7 m, and we’ve noticed that the cockpit and living areas feel airy even during busy days at anchor. For navigation and safety, we state with certainty that the Lagoon 42 is well equipped for regional cruising around Guadeloupe. Guests who have trusted us often tell us they love the easy handling and the calm, confident feel when the autopilot is doing its job.
For life on board, we advise planning your days around comfort ashore and at sea. There’s air conditioning, a reliable watermaker, and a generator for convenient power management. You’ll also find practical galley amenities such as an oven, stove, refrigerator, and freezer—perfect for longer stays. Shade is covered too: the bimini top and cockpit cushions make the afternoons feel relaxed, not rushed.
We also like the thoughtful onboard electronics and connectivity. The GPS plotter, VHF radio, AIS, and sonar help you stay aware of your surroundings, while the 220 V shore connection and inverter support everyday convenience. And for water time, there’s a swimming ladder, plus a tender with an outboard engine for quick access to beaches and coves.
If you’re considering a 2025 Lagoon 42 for a charter in Guadeloupe, we can say with confidence: it’s a great match for mixed-experience crews and for guests who want comfort without compromise!
