Yacht Overview
We’ve advised many groups sailing out of St. Vincent, and the Leopard 46 catamaran is one we can confidently recommend when you want a charter vessel that feels practical from day one. Built in 2011 and laid out with four cabins, she carries 8 berths in total, which is ideal for families or small teams who still want privacy onboard.
From our experience, the 13.9 m length and 7.35 m beam give a stable platform for Caribbean passages around St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The 4-head arrangement also matters on charter days: with multiple toilets, morning routines stay smooth, even when everyone wakes up at the same time! Actually, we have noticed that this detail often becomes the “quiet luxury” guests remember.
Technically, we like how the layout supports liveaboard comfort without turning the deck into a cluttered workspace. The cockpit lighting helps during late arrivals, and the presence of an emergency tiller is a reassuring safety backup. For power management, the shore power cable and inverter are useful when you want to reduce generator reliance at dock. Air conditioning is another strong point for warm-water cruising; our guests typically feel the difference immediately after boarding.
Navigation support is well covered as well, with a GPS plotter and nautical charts onboard, so you can plan courses with confidence along the Grenadines. For water autonomy, the watermaker is a key asset for longer stays between refueling stops. On deck, you’ll find essentials for handling lines and anchoring, including the anchor chain setup, mooring ropes, and winch handles.
We also state with certainty that the safety kit is well thought through: life jackets, life belts, life raft, flares, fire extinguishers, and a fire blanket are all present. Add the solar panel for everyday efficiency, and you get a catamaran that works for charter/rental guests who want both comfort and dependable systems—no drama, just sailing!
