Marina Admiral

The Admiral Marina is a part of the luxury Admiral Hotel complex and is situated in the middle of the popular resort of Opatija on the Istrian peninsula in Northern Croatia. The so-called Opatija riviera is six miles west of the large port of Rijeka and 11 miles north of the island of Cres. A charming well-sheltered location, this four-anchor category marina serves as a comfortable base for sailing into the Gulf of Kvarner and around the islands of Cres, Losinj and Krk. There are several bays to explore around the Gulf of Kvarner between Opatija and Rijeka but yachts are advised to seek shelter in the marinas in unsettled conditions. Admiral Marina is open all year round and a good choice for permanent berthing.

Approach to the marina is easy and without danger, although entry can be difficult in strong onshore winds. It is entered from the NE and the depths at the entrance are 4metres. Berthing assistance is available and yachts berth bows or stern-to on either side of the five piers or along the quays. There are laid moorings at all berths.

Facilities

Admiral Marina has got 160 sea berths, for boats up to 20m in length, all supplied with power and water. The dry dock capacity is for 40 boats and the boatyard has a fixed crane with a loading capacity of 5T. Some basic engine, electrical and electronic repairs are possible here. Boat cleaning is also available on request,
