Boat Overview
We’ve guided many guests through the calmer waters of Schleswig-Holstein, and the Oceanis 37 is one of those sailboats that consistently feels “just right” for a charter. Built in 2010, she brings the confidence of modern comfort to a classic sailing shape. At 11.47 m length and 3.91 m beam, she’s spacious enough to enjoy life aboard, yet easy to handle—exactly what our customers tell us after their first evening onboard.
With three cabins and six berths in total, the layout works beautifully for couples, small families, and friends who want privacy without complicating things. The single head is neatly arranged, practical rather than excessive—our experience is that it keeps the day-to-day routine smooth during a weekend hop or a longer coastal cruise.
In Schleswig-Holstein, where the scenery changes from forested shores to open water moods, navigation matters. We’ve noticed that guests appreciate the clear, cockpit-friendly setup and the added confidence from modern electronics. An autopilot and GPS plotter make it easier to keep a relaxed watch, while the bow thruster helps with low-speed maneuvers in busy harbors. There’s also a cockpit shower for those salt-drenched swims, plus a microwave and oven for warm meals when the wind decides to take its time.
Our advice? Plan your route with plenty of time for bays and anchorages—this is a boat that rewards unhurried sailing. Actually, we can say with certainty: anyone booking with us for the German coast usually leaves with that “one more day” feeling!
