From our experience with guests who have trusted us, the Lagoon 52 catamaran is one of those rare choices that feels both practical and impressively comfortable from the very first day aboard! Built in 2017 and based in Praslin, Seychelles, this multihull is designed for people who want a smooth, easygoing cruising rhythm—without giving up space.
We recommend it especially for groups. With seven cabins on board, you’ll find plenty of room to spread out, and the layout supports up to 10 berths in the cabins plus two additional berths. Actually, we have noticed that this “more-than-plenty” capacity makes a big difference on longer stays, when everyone wants their own routine—coffee on deck, a quiet moment in the cabin, and then back to the water.
The Lagoon 52 measures 15.84 meters in length with an 8.74-meter beam, giving the boat that stable, confident feel under sail. According to us, the sailing setup is a big part of why guests enjoy it so much: a full batten mainsail, a roller genoa, and a steering wheel system that keeps handling straightforward and relaxed. We think it’s the kind of combination that suits both experienced crews and charterers who prefer everything to be simple.
For comfort ashore and at sea alike, there are five toilets, which matters more than people expect—especially when the boat is full. Our guests tell us the same story: the day starts calm, the afternoons feel effortless, and the evenings are all about shared stories.
