We’ve advised many guests cruising from Preveza, and the Lagoon 42 is one of the most balanced catamarans we’ve seen for a week of comfortable sailing. We recommend this model for charter and rental because the accommodation is practical: 6 cabins for a total of 8 berths, plus 2 additional berths. From our experience, that works very well for families and small groups who still want privacy at night. The 5 toilets are also a real comfort point; we’ve noticed guests stop thinking about logistics and start enjoying the itinerary!

On deck, the 12.8 m length and 7.7 m beam translate into stability and a relaxed motion—important in Greek wind patterns around the Ionian. Actually, we know how often weather changes here, and the Lagoon 42 keeps the ride calm.

The boat was renewed in 2023, and you can feel it in the onboard readiness and overall condition. For navigation and communication, there’s a GPS plotter and VHF radio, while autopilot helps when you want to reduce workload during longer passages. For comfort, air conditioning is a key point, and the generator supports day-to-day power needs.

We state with certainty that the water system is a strength: a watermaker and extra water tank give more freedom for your route. On sunny days, the bimini top, sun tent, and sundeck cushions make the flybridge and forward areas genuinely usable. The dinghy is equipped with an outboard engine for straightforward shore landings—no drama, just smooth transitions.
