Kos Marina

In the heart of the Dodecanese lies the island of Kos where you will find its well-maintained and modern Kos Marina. Located walking distance from Historic Kos Old Town and facing Turkey, it is an ideal starting point to pick up your charter and explore some of the finest sailing areas in Greece. From here you can sail to the lesser known islands of the Dodecanese that are hard to reach without a yacht.

Built in 2001, Kos Marina has 250 berths (which can be booked online) for boats from 7 to 50 m with mooring lines, friendly staff to help you tie off, and power and water supplies using a key card system.  It is well protected from the summer winds, has 24 hour security and all piers are equipped with fire stations and emergency stations stocked with lifebuoys, lifelines, emergency phones and rescue ladders.

Kos Marina is also an excellent place for yacht owners. Boat owners can find a permanent berth here from where they can offer charter services and also lodge their boats in the off season.

Facilities

Kos Marina is a full service marina offering : telephone connection, internet,  satellite TV, WC-showers, trolleys, a parking lot, waste management services, refuse containers and a fuel station. There is also an ATM, baggage storage and a postal service.

An on-site shopping center offers a super market, fruit market, laundry, chandler and equipment stores, souvenirs shops, a boutique and car rental services. There is a Cafeteria and the Lemon and Oregano Restaurant serving traditional food to rave reviews.

An extensive range of technical services such as yacht repairs, mechanical and electrical repairs, yacht cleaning services and sail maker are available upon request. There is also a Pilot speedboat available, if needed.

Getting there and away

Kos Island is well connected and has everything in terms of tourist infrastructure. The Kos International Airport, Hippocrates, is in the centre of the island near the village of Antimachia, 25km from Kos Marina. There are also passenger ferries from neighbouring islands and also from Turkey.
