Lefkas Marina

Lefkas Marina, of the D-Marin Group, is one of the most modern marinas in the Mediterranean. Located on Lefkada Island of the Ionian Islands, off the west coast of Greece, it has been in operation since 2002.  The marina is in Lefkas town itself, all its facilities just a short walk away for guests of the marina. Located conveniently and connected to the mainland by bridge, the marina is open all year.

The delights of sailing around Lefkada are many. Lefkada, home of poets, has steep white cliffs along the western coast of the island, after which it is named (The White One). The eastern coast is less wild and there are numerous islets to discover by boat. White sandy beaches and shimmering turquoise sea is what this region is known for.

Cutting deep into the shoreline, the large, sheltered bay of Vlichos forms a splendid natural harbour in the south eastern area of the island and welcomes all crafts sailing in the Ionian Islands. Also popular amongst yachties is Vassiliki Bay in the south. Known for its good wind, it’s where you want to be for some bracing sailing! This is the venue for an International Sailing Regatta each July.

Facilities

Lefkas Marina can accommodate 620 yachts up to 45 m long and with a 4 m draft.  All berths are supplied with electricity is available (220 V and 380 V) and water. Permanent berths are also on hand guaranteeing the safety of the boats moored here. Marina staff is ready to welcome and help you berth. Lefkas Marina hosts a number of charter vessels.

On hand for your convenience are a reception and information area, WC and shower facilities, wireless internet access (via pre-paid card),  outdoor car parking, a fuel station      diving services, 24-hour security service, fire warning and extinguishing systems.

The boatyard can accommodate 280 in the dry dock and has 2 travel lifts, 150T and 70T and a mobile crane 60 T

General  services include hull washing and general cleaning works,  engine maintenance and repair, technical services for ;  electrics, carpentry and upholstery,  ventilation, bilge control, air conditioning    battery control and charging  and  refrigeration systems.

Getting there and away

Lefkas Marina is very close to the International Airport of Aktion in Preveza, only 20km away and connected to the mainland by bridge.
