Olympic Marina

Olympic Marina is a large and busy marina located on Cape Sounio, close to the Port of Lavrio, Greece. Cape Sounio is in the southernmost area of Attica 65 km from Athens. It is an idyllic area, with archaeological interest and natural beauty. From here all of the southern islands in Greece are easily accessible including the Argosaronic Islands and the well-known Cyclades. This island complex is famous for its cosmopolitan party islands, like Santorini and Mykonos and also for the stark beauty of the landscape, the glorious sunshine and good wind.

A full-service marina that is open all year round, it operates according to international standards and is holder of the Blue Flag, the award for adherence to environmental and sustainable management.

Approach to the marina is straightforward with no dangers other than the ferry boats operating out of Lavrio Harbour

Facilities

The Marina has got 680 sea berths all supplied with electricity and water. There are fixed piers with mooring lines and floating piers with finger piers.

Facilities on site include a car parking, 24-hour security and controlled entrance, a port authority and Customs House, a chandlery shop with a wide variety of products to meet your boat's needs, a Mini-market, a restaurant - cafe' – bar, rental services for cars, bikes, and scooters, an ATM, toilets and showers open 24 hours a day (also adopted for use by people with disabilities), a laundry, First aid facilities, free Wi-Fi internet, transportation of customers and baggage within the marina and a refueling station.

There is a slipway and the large boatyard that has 700 dry berths, 3 travel lifts with 45T, 65T and 200T loading capacity and experienced personnel for any kind of maintenance or repair. The yard has the capability to do any job as they have a strong shipbuilding backgrounds, having constructed Olympic and Carter yachts here. The technicians available are mechanics, electricians, carpenters, sail makers and workers for painting anti fouling. Also on site is covered parking for boats on trailers and launching and hoisting facilities.

In terms of waste management, the marina has special barrels for oil and biological waste and certified hazardous waste collection from vessels.
