Yacht Charter Skiathos

Skiathos town and harbour is the buzzing capital of Skiathos Island of the Sporades group. Located on the southeastern part of the island, Skiathos Town was rebuilt in 1830 on the ruins of the old abandoned town dating back to 800BC. It is now a major tourist centre with a busy, noisy waterfront and backstreets full of galleries and shops.

The pine-covered islet of Bourtzi is between the two harbours in a well- protected bay. During the summer there is a cultural festival inside the Bourtzi fortress.

Skiathos Town nightlife scene is well-renowned and in the summer young Greeks from all over descend to celebrate in the summer clubs and bars. There are also a number of fine restaurants along the quay.

Skiathos Town is the main charter base for sailing in the Sporades islands. From here there are a variety of boats to rent and go sailing around Skiathos and the rest of the islands.
