From our experience advising guests in Phuket, the Bavaria C45 is a very practical sailing yacht for a crew of families or friends who want real comfort without losing performance. We have noticed that this 2018-built sailboat, measuring 13.98 m with a 4.49 m beam, feels stable at anchor and predictable under sail. It’s designed for charter and rental use, and our guests who have trusted us often choose it for its straightforward handling and balanced layout.
Accommodation is a highlight: 4 cabins provide berths for 8 guests in the cabins, plus 2 additional berths. For a four-cabin plan, that’s a smart capacity in this size range, and it helps keep everyone comfortable on day sails around Phuket.
We can say with confidence that the deck setup is made for day-to-day sailing. The self-tacking jib reduces workload when conditions change, and the autopilot supports relaxed helming during longer passages. Safety and navigation are well covered as well, with a VHF radio and a GPS chart plotter in the cockpit.
For life aboard, the yacht offers air conditioning and hot water, plus a generator for reliable onboard power. There is also a watermaker, which we have seen guests appreciate when they plan extended stays on quieter anchorages. During calm moments, the bathing platform and swimming ladder make getting in and out easy—no fuss at all.
