Yacht Overview
Experience a premium charter sail on the Bavaria 49, a refined sailboat built in 2003 and based in Rijeka, Croatia. Designed for groups who want comfort at sea, this 15.4 m cruiser offers 5 cabins with a total of 10 berths in cabins plus 1 additional berth. Three toilets ensure smooth onboard routines, even during busy days in port.
The sail plan has been carefully renewed for reliable performance: the mainsail is from 2019 and the Genoa is also from 2019. A bimini top shades the cockpit, while the sprayhood keeps the helm area protected. Inside, warm air heating and hot water support comfortable evenings after sailing. Fresh bedding is provided, and the interior shower adds practical convenience.
Navigation and safety are handled with modern equipment. GPS and a GPS plotter guide your route with precision, supported by radar and a radar reflector for confident night approaches. The VHF radio and autopilot reduce workload when conditions change. Bow thruster helps with controlled docking in Rijeka’s lively marina traffic.
On deck, you’ll enjoy a cockpit shower, cockpit table, and teak in the cockpit for that classic nautical feel. Electrical comfort includes a battery charger, inverter, USB socket, and shore connection for 220 V. Entertainment is ready with outside speakers and radio.
The Bavaria 49 is also equipped for active handling: rolled Genoa and rolled mainsail, log/speed/wind instruments, cockpit cushions, fenders, mooring ropes, fire extinguisher, life jackets, and an onboard first aid kit. A tender is included, with its outboard motor provided for easy shore transfers. Practical extras complete the package: harbour guides, nautical guides, navigation set, spare anchor/chain and rope, and a full set of tools.
