We can say with confidence that this Lagoon 46 catamaran, based in Pointe-à-Pitre, France, is a very balanced choice for guests who are looking for a modern sailing solution for charter. Built in 2020, she combines a contemporary layout with the practical volume that this model is known for, and at 14.02 m in length with a generous 7.92 m beam, she offers excellent stability and comfortable living space at sea. Actually, this is one of the reasons why our guests often ask for the Lagoon 46: she feels spacious without losing the easy handling that makes a catamaran so attractive for cruising in the Caribbean area.

We have noticed that the six-cabin arrangement works especially well for larger families or groups of friends. There are 8 berths in cabins, plus 4 additional berths, and 5 toilets, so the onboard distribution is practical and clear. Based on our knowledge, this is a very useful configuration for a charter holiday where comfort and privacy matter just as much as performance. The self-tacking jib, autopilot, electric winches, full-batten mainsail and chart plotter support relaxed sailing, while the bimini top and cockpit cushions make time outside even more pleasant. We think the teak in cockpit gives the exterior a refined touch, and the cockpit speakers add a nice atmosphere in the evenings.

From our experience, the technical equipment on board is also a strong point. There is air conditioning, a generator, inverter, watermaker, electric toilet and coffee machine, which makes life on board much easier on longer trips. The outboard engine for the tender is included, and the tender itself is available for shore transfers and anchoring convenience. We have seen that guests especially appreciate this combination of autonomy and comfort when sailing around Pointe-à-Pitre and the surrounding islands.
