Sun Odyssey 440 sailboat – Volos

Yacht Overview

Set course from Volos and discover the Pagasetic Gulf aboard the Sun Odyssey 440, a modern sailing yacht built in 2023 for elegant escapes on the Aegean. At 12.8 meters in length and 4.27 meters in beam, she offers a beautifully balanced feel at sea, with the comfort and confidence expected from a contemporary design. This is a yacht made for relaxed days under sail, easy island-hopping, and long, golden evenings at anchor.

Her layout is thoughtfully arranged for private holidays, with 3 cabins and sleeping space for 6 guests in cabins, plus 2 additional berths when extra flexibility is needed. Two toilets add welcome convenience on board, especially for family groups or friends sharing a week away from shore. The atmosphere feels bright, practical, and inviting. Exactly what a stylish charter should be.

Life on deck is where this model truly shines. A bimini top and sprayhood provide shelter when the sun is high or the breeze freshens. Teak in the cockpit brings a refined touch, while cockpit cushions and cockpit speakers create a sociable setting for sunset moments. The swimming platform makes sea access effortless, and the tender is ready for easy trips ashore or quiet coves nearby. A bow thruster supports smooth maneuvering, while the chart plotter helps guide each passage with clarity.

For longer days afloat, the roll genoa and roll main sail make handling efficient and enjoyable. A refrigerator, solar panel, and holding tank round out the practical side of life on board, supporting comfortable cruising with a lighter footprint. The Sun Odyssey 440 is a superb choice for those seeking a refined sailing experience in Volos, where mainland charm, island horizons, and clear blue water meet in one unforgettable route.
