Bavaria Cruiser 46 sailing yacht – CORFU

Yacht Overview

We have guided many guests through the Ionian Sea, and the Bavaria Cruiser 46 in Corfu is one of those practical sailing yachts that simply makes sense for a charter. According to our experience, it suits both first-time crews and more confident sailors who still want easy handling and comfortable nights onboard!

This is a sailboat built in 2018, designed for charter and rental use, with a length of 14.02 m and a beam of 4.27 m. On board you’ll find 3 cabins and 6 berths in total, which is ideal for small groups that want real cabin privacy without feeling cramped. For convenience, the yacht is equipped with 3 toilets, so morning routines stay smooth even when everyone wants to be on deck early.

We observed that the cockpit comfort is strong for day sailing around Corfu, especially when the sun gets intense. The bimini top and the sprayhood help reduce glare and spray, so you can stay protected while still enjoying the view. Maneuvering in busy marinas is also noticeably calmer thanks to the bow thruster.

For navigation and day-to-day sailing, the yacht comes with an autopilot and a chart plotter, which helps the helmsman keep a steady course. Under sail, the roll genoa and roll main sail make sail handling straightforward, even with a small crew. Our guests also appreciate the holding tank and the onboard refrigerator for longer stays.

For tender operations, we note the tender is carried for shore access, and the electric toilet system adds to the overall practicality. If you’re planning a week of cruising from Corfu, we think this model is a reliable choice—steady, comfortable, and ready for real charter life.
