Sun Odyssey 490 sailing yacht – Kavala

Yacht Overview

Sun Odyssey 490, a modern sailing yacht built in 2023, is a superb choice for those who want comfort and ease during a charter or rental in the Aegean. Based in Keramoti, Greece, this 14.33 m cruiser-racer style sailboat is designed for relaxed days and confident handling. With 6 cabins and 12 berths in total, it suits families, friends, and small groups who value privacy. Four toilets add real convenience onboard.

You’ll feel the difference from the first minutes! Air conditioning keeps the interior pleasant even when the weather turns warm. Autopilot and a bow thruster make maneuvering in harbors and tight spaces smooth, calm, and precise. The chart plotter helps you navigate with clarity, while electric winches take the effort out of sail handling. The bimini top and sprayhood provide welcome shade and protection. For sail performance and straightforward control, the yacht carries a full batten main and a roll genoa.

Cockpit life is well taken care of. Teak in the cockpit gives a refined touch, and cockpit cushions invite you to stay longer. Cockpit speakers add atmosphere when you’re anchored or sailing at sunset. A solar panel supports onboard power, so your routine stays simple.

For getting ashore, the tender is included. Overall, this is a 6-cabin sailing yacht made for memorable cruising—steady, well-equipped, and ready for your next escape from Keramoti.
