Boat Overview
We’ve guided many guests through Portorož, and the Dufour 325 is one of the most balanced choices for a bareboat or crewed sailing rental. This sailboat (built in 2007) is compact enough for easy handling, yet it feels surprisingly capable once you’re underway. According to our experience, it suits couples, small families, and friends who want real comfort without overcomplicating the day.
The layout is practical: two cabins with a total of 4 berths, plus 2 additional berths for flexible sleeping arrangements. One toilet is onboard, straightforward and functional for day-to-day cruising. We recommend planning your provisioning with the galley in mind, because the Dufour’s kitchen equipment is designed for efficient meal prep at sea.
From a technical standpoint, the sail inventory is a strong point. The main sail was updated in 2025 and the genoa in 2024, which we’ve noticed reduces the “worry factor” during a rental season. For navigation and safety, you’ll find a GPS plotter, VHF radio, autopilot, radar reflector, and a full set of onboard instruments including log/speed/wind and tridata. Communication and docking are supported by shore connection 220 V, plus an electric anchor windlass.
The cockpit is equipped for active sailing: bimini top, sprayhood, cockpit shower, teak in the cockpit, and a cockpit table for quick breaks. For tender operations, there is a dinghy with an engine, and the boat also carries a life raft, life belts, and life jackets.
At 10.08 m length overall and 3.4 m beam, we can say with confidence it’s a confident cruiser for Adriatic conditions—especially when you want a rental sailboat that feels tidy, modern, and ready.
