Sun Odyssey 519 sailing yacht – MALLORCA

Yacht Overview

From our experience, the Sun Odyssey 519 is a very practical sailboat for charter in Palma de Mallorca, especially for guests who want a modern layout and comfortable living space at sea. Built in 2018, this 15.85 m model with a beam of 4.57 m offers a well-balanced combination of sailing performance and onboard comfort. We have noticed that groups of families and friends appreciate her five-cabin arrangement, which provides berths for up to 12 guests in cabins, together with three toilets, making longer stays much easier to manage.

We recommend this yacht for guests who want to explore Mallorca with confidence. The deck plan is straightforward and efficient, and the equipment supports relaxed handling even when the wind picks up. She is fitted with a bow thruster, electric winches, a chart plotter, roll genoa, roll main sail, bimini top, sprayhood and solar panel. Actually, these details make a real difference during a busy week of sailing. The refrigerator is useful for provisioning, and the tender adds flexibility when anchoring in quiet bays or moving ashore.

Based on our knowledge, Palma de Mallorca is one of the best starting points in the Balearic Islands. Guests who have trusted us so far often choose this type because it suits both experienced crews and those who want a stable, user-friendly sailboat for a charter holiday. We can say with confidence that the Sun Odyssey 519 is a strong choice for a comfortable sailing trip with enough space, sensible technical equipment and a proven design. It is a yacht that works well for island cruising, social onboard life and smooth departures from Palma.
