Built in 2025, the Dufour 530 Smart Electric is a modern sailing yacht designed for professional charter and rental in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. At 16.35 m length overall with a 4.99 m beam, it offers a spacious 7-cabin layout for groups that want comfort without losing sailing character. Twelve berths are provided in cabins, plus one additional berth—ideal for families, friends, and corporate sailing weeks.

The interior is planned for practical living aboard. Three toilets support smooth onboard routines during longer passages. The galley is fully equipped with oven, stove, refrigerator, and kitchen utensils, so meals can be prepared at sea with confidence. Sound and atmosphere are handled by a FUSION audio system, while mosquito nets add real day-and-night comfort.

For navigation and safety, the yacht is fitted with AIS, GPS plotter, and VHF radio. Wind, speed, and depth instruments keep the crew informed, and the helm station brings autopilot control for steady steering. Electric pods, fully automated energy management, and a lithium battery pack form the heart of the Smart Electric concept. Hydrogeneration, solar panels, a generator, and a fast charger support efficient power use. There is also a 230 V/12 V converter, service batteries, shore connection 220 V, and battery charging.

Handling is equally considered. A bow thruster, fixed propeller, electric anchor windlass, and electric toilet simplify maneuvers in busy marinas. The cockpit includes a cockpit shower, cockpit table, bimini top, sprayhood, cockpit portlight, and a barbecue grill. For tender work, a dinghy with outboard engine is provided.
