Bavaria C38 sailboat – MALLORCA

Boat Overview

From our experience advising guests in Palma de Mallorca, we can say with confidence that the Bavaria C38 is a remarkably practical sailboat for a week of relaxed sailing and easy handling. This 2022-built yacht is designed for charter and rental, and it shows in the balanced layout, the comfortable cabin count, and the thoughtful deck arrangements. We’ve noticed that many of our clients want both comfort and confidence under sail—actually, this model fits that request very well.

The Bavaria C38 measures 11.31 m in length and 3.98 m in beam, with 3 cabins and accommodation for 6 guests in cabins plus 2 additional berths. For a charter in the Balearic area, that capacity is a sweet spot: enough room for a small group, yet still manageable for a professional crew—or for experienced skippers. Two sanitary spaces help keep routines smooth during longer days on the water.!

Onboard purpose-built equipment supports navigation and safety. We recommend routes that make use of the cockpit GPS chart plotter and the autopilot, especially when you want to maintain course while enjoying the coastline around Palma. The AIS and VHF radio enhance situational awareness, and the wind instruments make sail trim more precise. For anchoring and departure, the electric anchor windlass is a welcome convenience.

We also value the bathing platform for quick sea access, and the electric bilge pump for peace of mind. The cockpit table and the bimini top make the sailing day feel more “liveable”, even when the sun is strong. Guests who have trusted us often tell us the same thing: the boat feels ready for charter life from day one. Based on our knowledge, this is exactly the kind of sailboat model we’d book for a classic Mediterranean cruising plan—calm, efficient, and enjoyable.
