Bavaria Cruiser 51 sailing yacht – MALLORCA

Yacht Overview

From our experience advising sailing holidays, the Bavaria Cruiser 51 is one of those rare picks that feels both comfortable and capable from day one. Based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, this 2015-built sailboat is a charter favorite for groups who want real time on the water—without sacrificing everyday ease. We have noticed that guests who book with us so far especially appreciate how the layout works when everyone wants their own space.

With five cabins and accommodation for ten berths in cabins plus one additional sleeping place, the Cruiser 51 suits families and friends perfectly. Actually, it’s the kind of boat where a shared trip still feels personal. And yes, we recommend it if you’re sailing with small ones: a children/baby vest can be booked for free, so you can relax right away. “Peace of mind” isn’t a slogan here—it’s what our guests tell us after sailing.

On board, practical touches make the difference. We’ve seen how cockpit cushions turn a quick stop into a proper lounge moment, while the sprayhood helps keep the mood steady when the breeze shifts. For sail handling, the roll genoa and roll main sail simplify life on the helm, so you can focus on the coastline and not on complicated maneuvers. Our team also arranges end cleaning, which means you can finish the trip without the usual hassle.

And then there’s the tender, ready for those small adventures close to shore! If you’ve been looking for a sailboat charter in Palma de Mallorca with a proven cruising setup, we can say with confidence the Bavaria Cruiser 51 delivers exactly that—smooth, social, and wonderfully Mallorca.
