Two toilets help keep mornings organized—actually, that’s a detail our guests appreciate more than they expect.

The Lagoon 40’s character is also in the way it supports easy sailing. We have seen that the self-tacking jib reduces workload when conditions change near the coast. For navigation and safety, the GPS plotter and VHF radio with DSC station give a reassuring, “ready-to-go” feel. When guests want to focus on views, the autopilot and wind instruments take the edge off long stretches.

Onboard comfort is supported by a bimini top, cockpit cushions, and a cockpit shower—small things, but they matter after a swim! There’s also a bathing platform with a swimming ladder for quick returns. For day stops, the galley includes kitchen utensils and a refrigerator, and yes, we’ve noticed many charterers enjoy the moka pot during morning breaks. If you’re bringing your plans ashore, the 220 V shore connection and battery charger help keep everything stable.
