Yacht Overview
The Bavaria 42 Cruiser is a comfortable sailboat for charter and rental in the Adriatic, based in Trogir, Croatia. Built in 2008 and designed for easy handling, she suits couples, families, and small groups who want calm, confident cruising with plenty of living space aboard. Three cabins provide real privacy, and the layout is practical: 6 berths in cabins, with 2 toilets for smoother mornings on the water.
The rig is updated for reliable sail power. The main sail is renewed for 2026, the genoa is also for 2026, and key sail work was refreshed in 2021. Underway, the cockpit stays usable and protected. A bimini top and cockpit cushions help you stay comfortable through changing weather. The bow thruster makes docking in the narrow Trogir marinas far less demanding—just controlled throttle and a steady approach.
For navigation and safety, the yacht is equipped with a VHF radio, an autopilot, and an echosounder. Visual bearings are supported by binoculars and a windex. Sail trimming is aided by self tailing winches and roll systems for the genoa and main sail, so you can reduce strain during short-handed moments. Power management is covered with a battery charger, inverter, and a solar panel.
Life-saving equipment is onboard and properly arranged: life jackets, life belts, life raft, distress flare box, and automatic inflatable life jackets. You also find an electric anchor windlass, cockpit shower, refrigerator, oven, and hot water for practical day-to-day comfort.
