Yacht Overview
We’ve advised many groups sailing from Primošten, and the Bavaria Cruiser 46 is one of the most consistent choices we’ve seen for bareboat-style chartering. This sailing yacht was built in 2015 and is designed for comfortable life aboard. With a length of 14.27 m and a beam of 4.35 m, it feels stable at anchor and predictable under way—exactly what our guests value when they want relaxed days, then efficient sailing.
The layout is particularly practical for a 4‑cabin setup. In our experience, the 8 berths in cabins plus 1 additional sleeping place works well for families and small crews who still want privacy. There are 3 toilets, which we consider an important comfort point on longer coastal passages around Croatia.
From a technical standpoint, we recommend this model if you want modern navigation and straightforward handling. The cockpit is equipped with an autopilot and a bow thruster, so docking in Primošten’s busy moments is noticeably easier. For communication and situational awareness, the VHF radio and radar system help you stay confident in changing coastal conditions. We also like the presence of a GPS chart plotter in the cockpit—hands-free decision-making is a real time saver.
Power and everyday convenience matter, too. There is a 220 V shore connection and a battery charger, plus a coffee machine for those “one more morning” starts. Safety gear is thoughtfully onboard, including life jackets, a life raft, and distress flares.
Actually, our guests often tell us the same thing: the sailing experience feels smooth, and the onboard systems make the trip feel well organized—no drama, just sailing!
