We’ve guided many guests through the Adriatic, and the Grand Soleil 50 in Šibenik is one of those sailboats that simply feels “right” from the first briefing. Built in 2005 and designed for comfortable charter cruising, this 14.9 m classic of the modern Grand Soleil line balances easy handling with a friendly layout.
With four cabins, she accommodates up to eight guests in cabins, plus two additional berths for extra flexibility. For families, couples travelling together, or small groups of friends, that’s a practical setup—no one has to compromise on privacy. We also like the way the interior supports longer days at sea: warm, calm, and made for life aboard.
The sail plan has been refreshed recently, with the main sail and genoa renewed in 2025. That matters! Smoother trim, better performance, and more confidence when the wind shifts near the coast. In our experience, guests who booked with us so far appreciate that the boat feels current and ready.
From Šibenik, you’re positioned perfectly for a route that can be as relaxed or as adventurous as you want. We recommend planning for short hops between coves, then staying out for sunset—this is where a well-tuned cruiser really shines.
