Yacht Overview
We’ve been advising charter guests along the Adriatic for many years, and we can say with confidence that the Dufour 460 GL is a very capable choice for a comfortable sail in and around Trogir, Croatia. This 2018 sailboat is built for charter and rental use, with a layout that works well for groups who want real privacy on board. From our experience, the 4-cabin arrangement is the sweet spot: it keeps the boat feeling spacious, yet still manages to sleep up to 8 guests in cabins, plus 2 additional berths.
The boat measures 14.15 m in length and 4.5 m in width, which gives a stable, predictable feel under sail. Guests who have trusted us often tell us the same thing: the cockpit is practical, the passages are clear, and the sailing setup feels “ready to go” without fuss. We’ve noticed that many first-time sailors relax quickly here—especially when the self-tacking jib takes the workload down.
For navigation and safety, we recommend looking at the full onboard electronics and support gear: VHF radio, autopilot, GPS chart plotter in the cockpit, and radar reflector. Add the electric anchor windlass and bow thruster, and you get easier handling in marinas and tighter berths. For comfort aboard, there is heating and hot water, plus a cockpit shower for those quick swims.
