Yacht Overview
We’ve chartered sailboats across the Adriatic for years, and the Dufour 470 from our Trogir base is one of those rare choices that feels “easy” from the very first hour. Built in 2022, this modern 14.85 m sailboat mixes clean design with real comfort for guests who want more than just sailing from A to B. Actually, we’ve noticed that the layout works brilliantly for groups: five cabins create a calm, private atmosphere, while there are 10 berths in cabins plus 2 extra berths for flexible arrangements.
Trogir is a fantastic starting point—historic streets, quick marina access, and the kind of coastline that invites day after day of cruising. We recommend planning a few longer sails and a couple of lazy afternoons in the cockpit; the Dufour 470 is made for that rhythm.
On board, the practical details stand out. There’s air conditioning for warm days, heating for cooler evenings, and a 220 V socket at the chart table—small things, but they make a noticeable difference when you’re living aboard. Navigation support is taken seriously too: VHF radio, radar reflector, GPS chart plotter in the cockpit, and autopilot help you stay confident even when the wind changes.
Safety and comfort go together, of course. We state with certainty that the boat is equipped for responsible cruising, and guests who have trusted us often tell us the same thing after their first night: the cabin atmosphere feels surprisingly restful! With three toilets onboard, mornings run smoothly—even when everyone wakes up at once. From our experience, this is a sailboat for people who want style, stability, and a genuinely enjoyable charter.
