From our experience with guests who have trusted us, the Dufour 48 Catamaran in Kaštela, Croatia is one of those charters that feels “right” the moment you step aboard. We recommend it especially for groups that want comfort without losing the smart, practical layout. This catamaran, built in 2019, is designed for charter and rental use with a clear focus on livability and day-to-day handling.

With 6 cabins aboard, it accommodates 10 berths in cabins plus 2 additional berths, so our guests can spread out without turning the saloon into a storage room. The 14.7 m length and 8 m beam give it a stable platform; we have noticed that the motion feels calmer than on many comparable monohulls, particularly during coastal passages around the Adriatic.

Technically, we can say with confidence that the onboard navigation and energy setup is well thought through for cruising days and evening returns. The chart table includes a 220 V socket, and the navigation package features a GPS plotter and AIS, supported by a VHF radio. For sailing performance at hand, there is a self-tacking jib and an autopilot, making short-handed moments far more relaxed.

Comfort details matter, and this one delivers: air conditioning and heating, hot water, and a full galley arrangement with a coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas cooker. When you anchor, the electric anchor windlass and its remote control with chain counter at the helm are genuinely convenient—no running around, just smooth control.

For water time, you’ll find a swimming ladder, snorkeling equipment, and a SUP stand up paddle. The tender is handled with an outboard engine, and the cockpit is equipped with cushions and a cockpit shower for quick rinsing.
