At 13.24 m length and 4.3 m beam, the yacht stays manageable while offering a stable ride. Two sanitary compartments make the day-to-day routine easy, especially when the weather turns busy—yes, even during a lively anchoring stop!
From our experience, the Dufour 430’s navigation and safety set is where it shines for charter use. The autopilot and VHF radio help reduce workload, while the echo sounder and GPS chart plotter in the cockpit keep your approach confident. You’ll also find an electric anchor windlass and a bow thruster, both of which make berthing in Kaštela’s conditions far less stressful.
For comfort in the cockpit, we recommend this sailboat if you enjoy time outdoors: bimini top, cockpit cushions, a cockpit table, and a cockpit shower. There is also a practical galley with a stove and a refrigerator, so simple meals feel effortless.
We advise bringing your usual sailing mindset—however, with the included rolled headsail and rolled mainsail setup, handling is straightforward. And when the wind drops, the outboard engine and dinghy support keep day trips flexible. Croatia looks even better from the water—especially on a yacht like this!
