We have noticed that families and groups of friends especially appreciate the four-cabin arrangement, because it gives privacy without losing the warm, sociable atmosphere on board. There are 8 berths in cabins and 2 additional berths, plus 4 toilets, so daily life stays easy even when everyone is on board at the same time.

From our experience, the Sun Odyssey 49 is a very balanced model for the Adriatic. The 4.49-metre width adds reassuring stability, while the roll genoa and roll main sail make handling pleasant and straightforward. We can say with confidence that the 2023 renewed genoa is a valuable detail for guests who like a fresh, reliable sail plan. The cockpit is inviting and well organised, with cushions, table, shower, teak and outside speakers for those quiet evenings at anchor. There is also a bimini top and sprayhood, which our guests often appreciate when the sun gets strong or the breeze picks up.

We think the equipment list is especially practical for longer stays. The boat includes autopilot, bow thruster, electric anchor windlass, Raymarine navigation system, VHF radio, speedometer, echosounder and wind instruments, so navigation feels reassuring and clear. On board you will also find a refrigerator, oven, gas cooker, hot water, USB and 12V sockets, shore connection 220 V, battery charger and ceiling fans. For safety and peace of mind, there is a liferaft, life jackets, life belts, first aid kit, fire extinguisher and all the essential deck gear.
