We’ve chartered and brokered many sailboats through the Adriatic, and the Dufour 430 in Pula, Croatia, is one of those yachts that simply feels “ready” for guests from day one. With 4 cabins and space for 8 berths in cabins plus 2 additional sleeping places, the layout works especially well for families, friend groups, and crews traveling together but still wanting privacy. We recommend it when you want to base your days around Pula’s coastline, then step out for quiet coves and evening returns—easy to manage, yet satisfying to sail.
The sail plan is designed for real-life handling: the self-tacking jib lets guests keep sailing with less workload, even when the breeze builds. For navigation and safety, we’ve noticed owners and skippers rely heavily on the GPS chart plotter in the cockpit, the VHF radio, and the autopilot—because when conditions change, confidence matters.
Length is 13.24 m with a beam of 4.3 m, giving a stable feel alongside comfortable interior living. Two toilets make mornings smoother for larger parties, and the air conditioning is a real comfort upgrade when the Croatian summer gets warm!!
