Sun Odyssey 379 sailboat – Nantes

Boat Overview

The Sun Odyssey 379 is a well-balanced sailing yacht designed for comfortable charter use from Arzon, France. Built in 2012, this 11.28 m sailboat brings together responsive handling, practical onboard living, and the clean deck layout sailors appreciate on shorter coastal passages or relaxed family holidays. With a beam of 3.66 m, she offers reassuring stability and a surprisingly open interior volume for her size.

Accommodation is arranged across 3 cabins with 8 berths in total, making her a strong choice for crews who want an efficient layout without sacrificing comfort. The single toilet is conveniently placed for everyday use at sea, and the cabin plan supports both private downtime and shared time on board. Simple, functional, and ready for active days on the water.

Her sailing setup is equipped for confident control and easy passage making. Autopilot reduces fatigue on longer legs, while the bow thruster helps with close-quarters manoeuvring in port. A chart plotter supports clear navigation, and the full batten mainsail works together with the roll genoa for dependable performance under sail. A tender is also included, adding flexibility for shore visits and anchorage access.

Onboard comfort is supported by a refrigerator, ideal for keeping provisions fresh during multi-day trips. The overall specification makes this yacht a practical and attractive option for guests seeking a reliable sailboat rental with genuine cruising capability. From the first departure out of Arzon to the last mooring at sunset, the Sun Odyssey 379 delivers a composed, enjoyable, and technically sound experience at sea.
